We Must Not Allow the Removal of the Confederate Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery!
unnamed (1).jpg

The Naming Commission, assembled in 2020 as part of the U.S. military’s effort to combat racial injustice, will recommend to Congress that the Confederate Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery be removed.

We cannot let this happen. The memorial is an exemplary sculpture and was meant to be the marker for more than 462 Confederates buried at the cemetery. Furthermore, the Commission's sweeping name changes to nine Army bases, two Navy ships, numerous base roads, buildings, athletic fields, and more will cost over $62 million.

Time is of the essence! The recommendation of the independent commission is expected to be implemented by January 2024. Write your Congressmen today to express your outrage regarding the demolition of the 108 year old memorial.
