The R.E. Lee Monumental Association fully supports Defend Arlington in preserving the Confederate Reconciliation Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery and urges you to take action to oppose the removal.

Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act requires Arlington National cemetery to have multiple opportunities for the public to make comments and opinions before the monument can be removed.

 

We will keep you informed of all opportunities to oppose the removal. The easiest action is to send an email to anc-commemorative-works@army.mil or to submit a comments form on the Arlington Cemetery website at HERE. Public email and comments must be received by this Saturday, September 2nd and will be kept by Arlington Cemetery, so please keep your comments professional.
